More of Sisters, OR

The Liberated style was well represented at Sisters. We can thank Gwen Marston for bringing this amazing method to so many quilters.

This was a vintage top, it was for sale.  There are a few issues on the bottom right corner, but I thought it was very striking.

Loved this pineapple and thought the black added a very graphic touch.

Buttons were tied in the center of each block on this one.

This was from a Freddy workshop

Loved this one!  I'm enamored with the wedge ruler these days,  so this one caught my eye.

This was in my top 5 favs of the show. All hand done. There was very little hand work, and as you can see, very little appliqued.

One more post coming.   I had the good fortune to meet up with a few fellow bloggers, can you guess who?

Fascinating.
I'm wondering if there are many traditional quilts in the show anymore?
