Sixteen Done...

and nine more to go.  I wanted to look at how far I've come with my BTCT quilt.  I could quit right now and have a beautiful piece, but I'm going to continue on and finish the last 9 blocks.

The picture isn't the greatest because I can't get far enough away. My wall only holds this much, so I'll have to find another place when I go to do the final layouts. The reason I put them all up was to see how many more blocks were baskets, wreaths etc and the help me with color choices. I see a purple basket in my future blocks. I've also ditched 2 patterns so I will make up something for those last 2 blocks. At this point, I don't know if they will be wreaths, baskets, or sprays, but I"m sure my quilt will let me know what it needs at that time.
On another note...
These are addictive and cute. Check out Liz's post and see her colorways.
Hope you get some sewing time in this weekend.

What you have on the wall is stunning. It must be very tempting to stop there and applique shortened borders. I am interested to know which blocks you have ditched from BTCT.
Love the cheddar blocks. Great layout. It made me gasp.

It is so exciting to see all your blocks up. I don't know how I will lay mine out to see them. I may have to move furniture! I do love your cheddar blocks, too. Can't wait to see this one grow.

Your blocks are so pretty, especially seeing them all together. Love that positive/negative arrangement of the churn dash!

Or you could take a photo of each block and make a mosaic of them all!

I use

but there are others!

If you want more details email me!

Looks good so far!

So exciting to see your blocks up! Looking forward to seeing how you end up arranging them when all are done.

That is why I am cleaning the basement this month...there is no room to lay out any quilt this large:o)

Your BTCT blocks are looking great! And I know how much more beautiful they are in person. What a massive undertaking you're doing - it's fun to watch this one develop.

Your churn dashes are so cute! Love that cheddar, and it's interesting to see how different the 2 color ways look. They don't look like they're the same size.

I love the way you have made positive/negative cheddar blocks. Very striking in their simplicity!

Your appliqué blocks are really divine! And the new solid blocks look like a lot of fun. Hmm, I'm tempted.
