On the Horizon

It's been well over a year ago when I purchased a tower of FQ's from Minick & Simpsons line Clermont Farms. Then my friend Louise and I fell down the hole of this pattern.  I love the funky red horses, the mix of techniques and of course, all the red in this quilt.

I purchased a few cuts from their new collection of creams and blues to add into the mix, but it still needed some punching up.

Now I've got these 6 more reds to add into the mix and I'm ready to start.  As soon as I finish a few other things.
What's on your list of projects you want to start?

I am going to love your quilt. I have looked at this pattern a couple dozen times. You have made some good color choices. The horse is my favorite thing on the quilt.

This will be beautiful. I think I have a jelly roll of that line.
I want to start a little wool applique mini that I ordered when I took a class from Lisa Bongean in January. It finally came and I am making myself finish off a few things before I dig in.

My list is too long to list...all my deadlines are due in about 4 weeks and we have a vacation in the middle! LOL. I'll be hoping to enjoy some stitching while on vacation!! Your new project will be lovely. Do you like hand appliqué or machine appliqué?

Great quilt, I've never seen this pattern before. And your fabrics are just yummy. Of course, I love all the M & S fabrics.

My projects are too many to even think about! I'm trying to finish a few before I jump into something else. Right, who am I fooling? hahaha!

I've never seen the pattern before either but it looks like a great sampler. You'll have fun with it and it'll be fun watching your progress.
