Girls Day Out

Saturday was a perfect day for the spa.  It was dreary and raining and my gal pals from forever ago all had appointments at the spa.  I was booked for a massage, mani and pedi.  This was in celebration of all of us turning 50 this year.

I doubt the manicure will last very long once I start back on the hand quilting tonight. I've got the cross hatch marked and am about 1/2 way finished the second direction.
Definitely on the home stretch with this one. It took a back seat to the applique on my BTCT and I'm excited to be so close to finished. I have an open wall where this will hang. What are you close to finishing?

Pretty nails! But your lovely hand quilting will be worth a chip or two.

I love that nail color. But I love the glimpse of your quilt better! Cheddar, red and poison green, OH MY!
I finished my Halloween quilt last night! I'm just waiting till someone can hold it up or take the picture before posting it. I'm so happy!

No finishes in sight.
This quilt is so gorgeous. It would definitely feel good to almost have something like this finished--not that I would know! *LOL*

Love the nails! That's fun to do with GFs.

Your quilting looks wonderful. Love the colors in this! Glad you're getting close to the end.

I'm nearly done with some Halloween string squares (leftovers from the Halloween quilt) that will be placemats. I wonder if I'll be done in time to use them tomorrow??
